Our TCM Club met on July 11 to play classic film bingo. We played several competitive rounds with game cards focused on classic actors, male and female. Our usual sidebar conversations ensued with club members noting their favorite performers along with calling out their beloved film performances.
Next month, we have two meetings on the books: one where we plan to play classic film-themed Jeopardy and another in which we will discuss six movies that aired on TCM in July.
Looking forward to more good times with this fabulous group of classic film fan friends!
During this seemingly endless pandemic, our TCMC meetings are a welcome respite from social distancing, lonliness, and isolation. We are a GREAT group of like-minded classic film lovers and I am always surprised at the depth of knowledge our members have about classic films. Our guest programmers, Liz and Sharon, deserve a shout out for leading 2 recent meetings and Lexi is awesome at creating movie games! Our 2-hour zoomer calls just fly by!
