Backlot Chapter Outing: Field of Dreams

The Raleigh/Cary TCM Backlot Chapter “team” enjoyed playing together at our Father’s Day outing to see the 30th Anniversary TCM Big Screen Classics presentation of Field of Dreams. After the film and our team picture, we went for snacks and movie chat.

L to R: Dan, Chris, Linda, Liz, Kim, Sandra, Lexi

There was group consensus around the film being about dreams and wish fulfillment more so than being a baseball movie. Everyone agreed the suspension of disbelief in the film had a payoff as tears were shed at the movie’s end.

Another great classic movie event for the Chapter!
