Our TCM Club met on February 20 to play a new game release from TCM: TCM Ultimate Movie Trivia Challenge – 400+ Questions to Test Your Knowledge by Frank Miller.
The card pack set of trivia game cards is organized into eight categories including: The Great Films, Leading Ladies, Leading Men, Directors, Cult Classics, Supporting Players, Behind the Scenes, and Unforgettable Lines. For the club gameplay, Kami and Chris took four card sets each and rotated asking club members the questions on the category card. Questions spanned the silent era of film through the moviemaking of modern times. Certain questions found easy answers from club members who demonstrated their depth of knowledge of classic film. Others stumped the crowd after several answer clues were shared.
Everyone loved playing the game, which offered plenty of opportunity for “sidebar sharing” about the stars and movies that came up. Ninety minutes flew by in our virtual gathering, and club members expressed their desire to play the TCM Ultimate Movie Trivia Challenge again. This trivia game was a hit and will certainly make appearances at future TCM Club meetings.
