In 2023 we’re diving into a list of classic movies curated by none other than the great American director, writer, actor, producer, critic, and film historian Peter Bogdanovich. In his 1999 book Peter Bogdanovich’s Movie of the Week: 52 Classic Films for One Full Year, he invites readers to watch a film a week from a list he compiled.
We’re up for the challenge as the classic couple. Check back weekly for our Hers & His perspectives on each film on the docket. Spoiler alert: January 1-7 is An American in Paris (1951).
