Indelible Impression: Funny Girl

A Funny Girl moment for every girl.

I came across this iconic image today, and it made my day.

Funny Girl (1968) is one of my favorite films; Barbra Streisand a favorite performer. This wonderfully captioned photo from the film made me think about all of the unforgettable moments, the great lines, the memorable scenes from the movies that have made an indelible impression on me.

This is one of them.

This takes me to every moment where I have felt a little vulnerable, unsure, exposed – moments when I needed a boost of self-confidence. It’s 14 seconds of affirmation for every girl who has ever doubted her beauty, her worth, her power, her self. I could not love this tiny scene more.

For the full impact, click the photo to see the clip.

I plan to share more indelible impressions here in this new category of posts for Classic Couple. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I know I will enjoy sharing their impact on my life.
